1- Inna lillahi wa inna ilehi rajewoon
Brother Naeem Saroya is no More with Us! Inna lillahi wa inna ilehi rajewoon (- To Allah, we belong and to Him we return). May Allah accept this and forgive his short comings. O' Allah, grant him mugfira't and Janna't. Naeem has been backbone in formation and development of ICNA Detroit, CIOM, Masjid Ummar bin Khatab (Browns Town) and Majid e Falah (North Detroit/ Hamtramck). At a time when communities were still smaller or infancy, Naeem helped pull various communities together to achieve higher objectives. His work for MCWS, specially formation of Youth Group (YMFA) and Crescent Academy is remarkable. His work to bring ICNA and MAS closer is also incredible. Namaz e Janaza and burial was held on 5/23 in Dix Masjid (American Moslem Society, Dearbo). Please remember Brother Naeem in your prayers.

2- Ilmscape to the Hereafter - June 14th - June 16th
Al Misbah Institute and Michigan Islamic Academy present Ilmscape to the Hereafter - a weekend retreat.
it will be from June 14-16 and Shaykh Abdul Bary Yahya, Mufti Hussein Kamani and others will be coming
and there will be lots of activities. This is open to all community high school and college students.
Date: Friday June 14th - Sunday June 16th
Location: Benjamin's Beaver Creek Resort
Cost: $150
Activities: Swimming, Flag Football, Workshop on Salah, Workshop on Tahara, Games, and more

- Above 16 years old $3 
- 16 to 5 years old $2

If interested, come and pay your fee at the pool
Safety:
Hired lifeguard (male and female) will be available in all sessions
